EEG/Eye Movements Lab

		The Poizner EEG/Eye Movements Lab allows for combined motion capture, high density electroencephalographic recordings (EEG), as well as eye movement recordings during sensorimotor learning and retrieval.


		A 12 camera Impulse System (PhaseSpace, Inc.) monitors the subject's movement of the limbs, head, and body in 3-D space with a sampling rate of 240 Hz.

		Visual input is displayed on a 32'' Touchscreen Monitor (Elo Systems, Inc.), also allowing for registration of subject's manual response. The visual stimulation is provided by the Vizard software platform (WorldViz, Inc.). Alternatively, we can run MATLAB for visual stimulation (Psychtoolbox). Eye movements are captured with an EyeLink 1000 Towermount (sampling rate: up to 1000 Hz). The EEG is recorded with a 70-channel Biosemi active electrode EEG system (sampling rate: up to 1048 Hz).
