High Tech Conference Room A/V System (Crestron)
This article describes how to control the built-in A/V system of the INC "High-Tech" Conference Room.
Connect your computer
Our conference room table has two connectivity boxes located in the middle of the table for plugging in various devices.
Use the one closest to the door.
Press the button to open up the doors.
You will find the VGA/audio cable and several video adapters to choose from that may fit your computer's video output.
Notify any available staff if there is not an appropriate video adapter for your needs.
Turn on the system
Walk over to the control panel and tap the screen to wake it up.
Present from the center projector
Tap Laptop Presentation.
If it is not selected already, tap Center: On.
If you have the 3.5mm audio plug connected to your source, adjust the room sound level with the Media Volume control.
Turn off the system
If you are on this screen, tap Return to Main Menu. Alternatively, you can press the HOME button on the left of the control panel.
Tap System Off.
At the confirmation prompt, tap System Off: Yes.
You may now disconnect the cables from your computer. Please store the VGA cable and video adapters in the conference room connectivity box.
Close the connectivity box by pressing downward both doors at the same time until it click-locks.
